Showstoppers Performing Arts Theatre School
Showstoppers provide a vibrant, supportive space for aspiring young artists to explore the magical world of musical theatre. With three thriving schools, one on Friday evenings in Hitchin, Saturday mornings in Hitchin and also Saturday mornings in Henlow, families can choose the location that suits them best.
Our schools offer age-based groups, ensuring every child learns at a pace and level that’s right for them. Our youngest performers, aged 3–5 years, enjoy a fun-packed 1hour/1.5-hour session, while students aged 6+ years take part in an engaging 3-hour class that develops their skills in singing, dancing, and acting, with focused time dedicated to each discipline.

TEAM OVERTURE
(3-5 years)
Welcome to Team Overture, our delightful introduction to the world of performing arts for little stars aged 3-5 years.
This class is all about building confidence, sparkling passion, and having fun through playful games, music, and movement. It's the perfect space for children to make new friends, explore their creativity, and enjoy their first experiences of performance in and warm, supportive environment!
TEAM Show
(6-8 years)
Team Show is designed for budding performers aged 6 - 8 years who are ready to take the next step in their performance journey.
In this group, we focus on developing the basics of dance and singing technique, whilst also introducing script work and stage confidence. Children will grow into their performance abilities while still learning in a way that's dynamic, age-appropriate, and most importantly FUN!
TEAM Spotlight
(8-10 years)
Team Spotlight is for children aged 8-10 who are ready to step up and have fun with singing, dancing, and acting.
This group is specially tailored for children in their second half of junior school, introducing and developing the three disciplines through engaging activities led by our talented, supportive teachers.
The group provides a wonderful opportunity to grow in confidence while enjoying the excitement of performing!
TEAM Encore
(11+ years)
Team Encore is for passionate young performers ages 11 years and up. Team Encore offers a more focused, skill-building experience.
This team is ideal for those with a real love for the stage and a desire to deepen their love of musical theatre. With an emphasis on perfecting singing and dance technique. script analysis and understanding, members of Team Encore are challenged to grow into confident, expressive and professional young performers.
